Maturity does not mean “old”. It means fullgrown, coming of age, developed. The Apostle Paul encourages us to mature and to mature quickly. He speaks of being a child and being full grown into a man. As a child you did childish things. However, as an adult the time for childish things, mindset, ways, and behavior are over.
Maturity is empowering. It is not measured by age. It’s an attitude built by experience. It is walking through conflicts, not desiring revenge, and understanding the other person. I read a quote that said, “Maturity is a high price to pay for growing up.” It comes when you stop making excuses and start making changes. It is the product of becoming wiser. It enables you to become a better version of you.
